BIKE LANES AND SNOW

If you physically separate bike lanes from car lanes how will snow removal work? When the plow pushes the snow to the right, it will accumulate along the bike lane barrier reducing the width of the car lane and you would need another smaller plow just for the bike lane. Even if the barrier is just a hump, the snowplow will not be able to clear both the road and bike lane at the same time. Just how much added expense will there be?
