Of course, the dimwits in this province could have and should have prevented this. I mean, what did they expect after Dalton PUBLICLY signed a document swearing not to raise taxes then imposed the healthcare tax immediately after being elected? It was abundantly clear at that point that Dalton was a bald-faced liar who wouldn't hesitate for a moment to fleece the public. YET he was elected twice more. There was no legal recourse then...if I am not mistaken, some brave individual tried and lost in court.

I cling to the hope there will still be some legal ramifications for the gas plant cancellations; I hope that somewhere some is sifting through emails and so on, waiting to pounce. The best Christmas present for me would be to see Dalton doing to the perp walk. Fat chance. That and seeing heads rolling left, right, and centre at OPG and a lot of other places.
