Tractor, trailer stolen
Halton Police are investigating the theft of a tractor and a trailer from two neighbouring businesses in the Hwy. 401 Corridor area over the weekend.
The trailer, with Ontario Hydro cable on it and valued at $200,000, was taken from the lot at Truck Town Terminals on Steeles Ave. sometime between Thursday and Sunday. The silver 2009 53 ft. trailer had the plate H3002R on it.
During the same time period, police report a 2007 Mack 600 tractor was stolen from Fernbrook Springs on nearby Brigden Gate. Police did not have a value of the tractor, but said they are investigating the connection between the two thefts. The plate on the tractor is 559ORM.
Halton Police received a call about a possible impaired driver in the parking lot at McDonald’s Restaurant on Guelph St about 4:30 a.m. Saturday (March 23). Police responded and charged a driver.
Charged with care and control while impaired and having over 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood is Jason Lamb, 41, of Georgetown.
