Both the Georgetown and Acton Police Stations are a joke. Both seem to be a 9 am to 5 pm, Monday-Friday business. The drunk tank seemed to be Milton after hours but I have heard its now Oakville. Are we running a friggin library or Police Station ???? Spending millions more on another headquarters ??? The Bronte Station is over staffed and the maximum amount of people or residents seeking help is under a handful when I have been there…To be serious if Acton has a station, Georgetown South should have two, give Norval one, Speyside one, Ashgrove one, and Silvercreek two. Wasted millions !!!! Maybe we should see the cost if it was all run by the O.P.P….for many communities still rely on them rather than multiple offices everywhere with huge costs absorbed by the taxpayer.

Police station feasibility study concerns Somerville "As far as the Police Board...I thought Mr.Somerville was removed. As I was told when I lived in Acton...If you do not like it move....I did and will never look back...In reality you want way too much and have received, on a lousy tax base with a mini"
