Town wants police to monitor increased truck traffic

In response to additional truck traffic travelling through Acton to two Erin gravel pits, the Town of Halton Hills has requested Halton Police inspections and enforcement as well as a route change from the pit operators.

Meanwhile at the same council meeting, Halton Hills Council approved a purchase order for gravel

from James Dick Construction Ltd. for $117,152 for the maintenance of roads and shoulders within the community...

The gravel will be used on Clayhill Rd. from the Tenth Line to Fallbrook Trail

and on Fallbrook Trail from Ninth Line to 27 Sideroad and on Tenth Line, north of 27 Sideroad ...
