Underpass needed

Dear editor,

An open letter to Town Council :

I can’t believe what I read in the paper of March 14 with respect to a possible gas bar at the corner of Trafalgar Road and Maple Avenue.

Don’t you do any long-range planning ?

That property should be purchased by the Town for a future railway underpass on Maple Avenue,

as well as Trafalgar Road,

not leave it until it is needed

which would mean purchasing a thriving business at an exorbitant price.

F. Spingola, Erin
