Time passes.

Life happens.

Distance separates

Children grow up.

Jobs come and go.

Love waxes and wanes.

Men don't do what they're supposed to do.

Hearts break.

Parents die

Colleagues forget favors

Careers end.

BUT - Sisters are there, no matter how much time and how many miles

are between you. A girlfriend is never farther away than needing her.

When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by

yourself, the women in your life will be on the valley's rim, cheering

you on, praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on your behalf,

and waiting with open arms at the valley's end.

Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk beside you, or

come in and carry you out.

Girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters, daughters-in-law, sisters,

sisters-in-law, mothers, grandmothers, aunties, nieces, cousins and

extended family all bless our life.

When we began this adventure called womanhood, we had no idea of the

incredible joys or sorrows that lay ahead, nor did we know how much we

would need each other.

Every day, we need each other still.

Pass this on to all the women who help make your life meaningful. I just did.

There are more than 20 angels in this world; 10 are peacefully sleeping

on clouds, nine are playing, and one is reading her email at this moment!

Send this message to 10 of your friends, including me. If you get 5

replies, someone you love will surprise you.

How Things Change... & Will Get Even more Expensive...while so many Won't See TALE HOME pay Double or Triple While Hydro Rates...

Sarnia solar farm is owned by a california company that will also be making the solar panels in their state and then ship them to Ontario Canada.

The solar power cost 3-4 X more than power sources do, then the power will be sold to the ontario power grid then pass on the inflated price to the consummer, except for the land tax,

Sarnia won't make a dime off of this project.

The land was supposed to be for a toyota car plant but that never materialized.

He must be purposely pissing off the NDP establishment.

While I like the NDP, in principle, this shot across the bow of the insiders makes me laugh.

VICTORIA - The B.C. government must press the federal government to strengthen independent oversight of the RCMP so that the federal force is subject to review as B.C. police forces are with the B.C. Police Complaints Commissioner, according to New Democrat Public Safety Critic Mike Farnworth.

Boy everyone here seems to have a little bit of trouble sticking to the subject! The whole point of having a "Forum" is for others to be able to find discussions on topics that interest them and for them to join in, if you have a comment on a news item, make your point there.

You can control the blog page but I think you're in for a rough time if you try to rope in the cowboys in the forum.

In a normal world the comments would pertain to Georgetown. In a utopian world the comments would be coherent.

I have no intention of trying to "control" the blog page although I will have influence over what is "newsworthy" as an Editor, maybe will just express my personal "two cents" here now and then...
