Mayor not worth every dime she gets

, The Guardian published specifics detailing that our mayor is receiving the highest compensation of any mayor in Canada.
After reading all the negative feedback and criticisms that she has been receiving (through letters to the editor and from a majority of Brampton taxpayers I have spoken to) I felt that someone should present a response in her support.
After all, since Her Worship has been in office taxes have remained within reason. Oh, wait a minute. Now that I think about it they have actually continued to rise approximately five per cent a year.
Well at least traffic concerns are being dealt with.
Oh wait. Actually, the word is we are fast approaching gridlock.
Then there is the realization of the second hospital that we were promised.
No, I guess that would be the hole in the ground that we have almost accomplished for a “sort of” hospital some time in the future.
We do have our sports teams, though, that through help from the city we continue to be able to support and enjoy.
Or at least until the Battalion moved to North Bay.
I am sure that there must be justification of such an exorbitant salary somewhere, but I just can’t seem to come up with it.
Maybe we could ask some of our councillors as they are in the same boat.
Surely someone out there must be able to make some sense of this, but unfortunately I guess it isn’t me.

Listening to provincial and municipal politicians and bureaucrats these days, you’d think the entire town is there time for them to wake up
