Man charged after drugs found
Halton Police charged a Georgetown man after a small amount of crack cocaine was found in a vehicle early Tuesday morning.
Police stopped a vehicle with three people in it near a variety store on Mountainview Rd. S. about 1:50 a.m., and found the drugs in the car.
Charged with breach of probation and possession of a controlled substance is Nino Vitti, 48, of Georgetown.
A Georgetown woman was charged in connection with the theft of approximately $125 worth of items from the Real Canadian Superstore on Guelph St. Monday evening.
A woman was seen putting items into her bag and leaving the store without paying. Security stopped the woman and contacted police.
Charged with theft under $5,000 is Jennifer Hackett, 35.
