Starting Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, Tremaine Road (Regional Road 22), between Dymott Avenue and Britannia Road (Regional Road 6), will be closed until April 19, 2013, while Halton Region installs a new watermain to serve existing and future
communities in the Town of Milton.
“Closing a Regional road is never an easy decision,”

said Halton Public Works Commissioner Mitch Zamojc.

“We give careful consideration to motorist and worker safety,

the availability of acceptable detour routes, local events and project duration.

In this case, closing Tremaine Road for eight weeks was the best choice.

The Region will make every effort to finish the work quickly to limit the inconvenience to local residents and commuters.”
