This is the second horse escape in what? A week? Is this someone’s idea of fun, or “liberating” animals, or attempts at theft? Is there a connection to the removal of gaming machines from tracks, which was said to endanger the racing industry and thus local stables? I ask because these are the first large scale horse escapes I’ve ever heard about in close to 40 years of life. What’s the likelihood that two such events would randomly happen in such close proximity in such a short time?
