A purse containing more than $1,000 worth of items was taken from shopping cart at the Salvation Army Thrift Store on Mill St. Georgetown between noon and 1 p.m. Wednesday (May 15).

A woman had placed her purse in the cart and while she shopped piled items on top of it. When she checked for her purse it was gone. The purse contained cash, credit cards, gift cards and iPhone, sapphire ring and Pandora bracelet.
