Franzie Colaco, 53, was arrested in Brampton and is being held in custody and is awaiting extradition proceedings.

Republish Toronto Police arrested a man Friday who is wanted in the United States for allegedly making false claims defrauding the U.S. government of $15 million.

The Internal Revenue Service says the alleged tax fraud offences occurred between the spring of 2009 and the fall of 2010.

Franzie Colaco, 53, was arrested in Brampton and is being held in custody and is awaiting extradition proceedings.
