Creative job creation

Re “Time to quit stalling ”(Simon Kent, Aug. 23): I’m as mad as hell and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read that Metrolinx employs 2,600 people and 262 of them are paid more than $100,000 a year. What do they all do? Are these the jobs Dalton McGuinty and Kathleen Wynne have crowed about creating? No wonder the Liberals are always able to win in downtown Toronto. It’s obviously time for the people of this province, or at least those of us who do not work for the government, to really do something about this scandal-ridden bunch of layabouts who are taking all of our money and creating non-productive government jobs. We need to elect honest, ethical and trustworthy people to govern us. We need people who are willing to cut the size of government significantly and get rid of all these huge agencies that appear to be so wasteful.
