IT is not a "trade". IT is always up and down, I wouldn't advise anyone to get involved in it unless your lucky like a cousin of mine who has made big $ in computer programming since his college days in 1995...and he's moved twice across the country to get that money.

Become a welder, pipefitter, insulator, heavy equipment operator, petro-chemical engineer, carpenter, plummer, instrumentation, etc and you will find work in Canada.
