Alberta man fights for life after an attack at a Mexican Resort
(CP) - A Canadian vacationing in Mexico is on life support after being attacked and beaten at a Cancun resort.
Murray Toews says his 34-year-old brother Jeff, from Grande Prairie, Alberta, was found by security guards early Monday morning on the grounds of the Moon Palace Resort.
He says his brother, who was vacationing with his wife Natalie and nine other couples from northern Alberta, received serious injuries to the head and back.
He says Jeff, the father of a three-year-old son, is in an induced coma and on life support. Read more
