I wanted to get a feel for how the rest of our city feels about the terrible customer service we have. I know that its a result of poor staffing levels, etc. Nobody wants to work for minimum wage when they can make a killing in the oil patch. I just find that even a smile is pushing nowadays. Some of the people working with the public are there because they chose to be??? Prove it! I'm sick and tired of leaving an establishment saying to my husband, "that service sucked". Does anyone realize that they are hurting business. For all the servers out there, try harder to make your customers time there, a great one. You will only increase your tips, too. I am from BC, where tourism is big, and I am absolutely astonished that some of these people are employed still!
