I can remember Makortoff tell a few of us that if any mill has to close it will be Midway and not his boys in Grand Forks. Also word has it Grand Forks mill tried to pass off some of their expenses to the Midway mill, but got caught. Most of the guys I worked with in Midway were damn good workers...
