Santa's not feeling so jolly after watching people repeatedly sneak free pictures of him at an Edmonton mall.

I would agree with you if the Santa was a store employee but this Santa was hired by a photography company for the purpose of selling their craft. That alters the scenario just a tad now doesn't it?

Gordon Lock, I love Santa to and commend you for the years you've dedicated to making little children and their loved ones happy.

Paul, I respect your right to voice your opinion no matter how many clueless and nuts icons you give me. But think about this fairly. Taking your own pictures at a photoshoot is no different than walking into the photographers place of business and using your own camera after they've set up the backdorop and entertained your kids to get them to smile and look in the right direction. If you can't connect with that scenario, how about these ... driving your car onto a mechanic's hoist and then bringing out your own tools to personally fix your vehicle. Or sitting in a barber's chair and then cutting your own hair. Or tresspassing onto a farmer's field to work up a few acres of his land for the purpose of growing your own wheat.

Just because this particular complaint involves Santa Claus, doesn't give the parent (consumer) the right to abuse the businessperson.
