Let's not get carried away with these touchy, feely cars. There are alot of alternatives available. Remember GM introduced airbags in the mid 70's and nobody wanted them. Finally 20 years later airbags became an option and then standard by the late 90's. Honda Accord hybrids aren't selling that well to begin with. Most people don't consider the compromises required in driving habits, in order to achieve desireable results. A small percentage of consumers are willing to pay the extra cost of hybrids. Demand isn't there yet. Maybe in ten years, now is a trial phase.
