“We are going to replace 600 manufacturing jobs with a smaller number of assorted retail jobs. . . . I would hope that the mayor's office would be interested in getting more manufacturing jobs in that location, as opposed to retail jobs”

In response to the recent Moris plant Closure it is truly unfortunate that this Province & Commuinty loses another 600 Good paying full time Jobs. Not to mention the other Good paying Full time Jobs that have been lost such as Maple Leaf Poultry and others that have been lost!
That said how many good paying full time Jobs have to be lost and leave this Province before we say enough is enough?
They say for each Full time Job that is lost there is a spin of 3 more? If so, the 600 then becomes 1800 in total.
In closing one can only imagine where our elected Politicians were? And what they could or may have done to prevent this from happening once again.
The People of this Province deserve much better! They deserve good Paying Full time Jobs with Benefits and Pensions.
