I applaud all of those who demonstrated in support of re-establishing a Haitian military. How can anyone sane continue to support the failed UN mission in Haiti? The UN employs 14,000 non-Haitian workers who provide absolutely no benefit to Haiti. Look at the stats and you will find that the murder rate per 100,000 persons in Haiti is far less than in Brazil. The Brazilian and all other non-Haitian UN workers should return to their homelands to restore peace there first. You need 'peace keeping' more than us. How many qualified Haitians (many being members of the Haitian diaspora) have applyed for job openings in the UN and have not been considered; yet, the UN continues to hire non-Haitians. Many of whom cannot communicate with the masses. What stupidity! How counter progressive.
