The government is taking the numbers off of patients that have a type of M.S. not well received by this treatment! They are attempting to sway the numbers in their favor so they will not have to fund further research and also to appease their buddies at the big drug companies who would lose billions if this disease was treated without overpriced and largely ineffective drugs. In my own experience I know of several patients with a progressive form of M.S. whose recovery can be described as monumental! I myself have been diagnosed with primary progressive and have been told at every turn that no treatment is currently offered or covered so too bad see you in the nursing home! Unacceptable! I am trying to put together enough cash to have this procedure done. Even an experimental treatment is better than none!
