This young offender should be prosecuted as an adult and spend the rest of his life behind bars. Not very likely in this Canadian society, Brian was a good man, Don't worry Brian, some of us are still looking for justice.

I hate to break it but there is no such thing as justice in canada, only rehabilitation, which in-turn means if you are charged with manslaughter you will be out of jail in 36 months. It's sad but it's real. keep your head up

I believe if you do such a crime, you should be punished according to the crime that you committed. He killed him so he should be hung, not left to live his life?Maybe then people regardless of their age, will not do such horrible crimes.

tracy i 100% aggre with you i think that if you kill a person that you should be killed to balence it out i think that if the government established a law like that if u kill u get killed kinda think less people will kill in canada i think that they do it cause they no that there isnt a serious enough punishment so they no that they will not have to serve a gruling olong sentince or worse

we need to go back to the carter of rights and change some laws around. Therapy doesnt work on those who are repeated offenders. Canada is known to be soft against americans, and the rest of the world. Most criminals run from america to canada for this, because they wont have a death sentence. I think its time, to change the law here in this country, and not justa law, alot of them!

i think they should be locked up for the rest of there life and torcured every day, the way they made our dear brian suffer.and his little boy to have to live not haveing his dad. all we can do now is pray for justice for brian. cause if they get out they are gonna do it again and lord knows they have probally done it before as well..
