My son is on the street in that area. I look at the pics of the camp to see if there is anything that looks like it could be his.
He is my son, a father, a brother, an uncle. It is discusting that anyone should be treated this way. My son and thousands like him need a roof over their heads. I moved up north because I cannot afford housing in the lower mainland, never mind finding housing for people like my son. This society is to quick to make judgements about other. If you took the time to get to know these people you would find they are some of the kindest people out there who would give you the coat off their back. My son would. I love my son and it is hard to know he is living out side. I think about losing him every day. I try to help out people down on thier luck as much as I can because I hope someone will help out my son. These people are human...and like anyone they deserve to be treated with respect and compassion. What is our society coming to? Any of us could end up homeless any time....so.how would you want others to treat you. I can only hope this was not my sons camp.
