Next to the Jamie Bulgar incindent in Great Britain, these are the most disgusting and depraved kids I've heard of. And their parents obviously haven't being paying attention and should share in the blame. As usual, the kids will get a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again because next time we might slap their wrist a little harder! To me, people get so upset and vengeful because they know the kids will get away with it. We see it time and time again. We lose faith in our system of law and order.

Unbelieveably, this morning on a local Edmonton radio station, Magic 99, the morning announcers said the owners of the cat should share the blame because they didn't have an alarm system and left the cat in the house when they left! Gimme a break. Blame the victim.

We often hear the legal system talk about "community standards" when it suits them. Why not let the community deal with this in their "standard", what ever that might be;)

hmm, i suppose he'll get a slap on the wrist for that, like the ones in Toronto who skinned a cat alive and will never suffer what they did to that poor animal

This is extremely disturbing, I cannot get the image of that innocent animal out of my head - haven't slept for days. I am still waiting for the sentencing of that pitiful character in Didsbury torturing Daisy Duke. I am quite positive that he will only receive a slap on the wrist. And, of course, the same will happen to these four sick individuals. The courts will just drag it out for months or years until it is so called 'old news'. In the meantime these adolescents will continue a normal life. Yeah to our scewed up system!
