WFG is a scam wrote: <quoted text> If you have a university "degree", don't you think that you should know how to spell too? I will get you the info from 1998 - 2008. It will take a bit of time but I will have it scanned and with my name, my SIN and my earnings whited out. The companies I worked for will still be there. I will have it posted and you will do the same! I guess they didn't teach you grammar in University. How did you even graduate elementary school with your grammar!!! To make things easier for you, why don't you start with the pay stubs from the last 2 months. The company logo should be on them, and they should be right at hand!!! Ready to post when you are!!!

Go through the BBB webiste and search for WFG. Most branches are not accredited, and most have not given the BBB enough basic information to give an accurate score. However, the ones a came across with scores were inconsitent. Some were B's, but alot were C's, or C-. Some branches had complaints filled against them, in addition to the head office in Georgia This statement came up a few times: "BBB has requested basic information from this company but has not received a response. As a result, BBB may not have current information about the company." Makes you wonder, what are they trying to hide? The Business Management of each branch also tells us that WFG used to be WMA, which was shut down after being fined heavily for hidding 900 complaints against them. http://www.investmentnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a... WMA history is important to this discussion as well.

Oh, and there are many branches that are not even registerd with BBB. There are only 3 registered with BBB in Edmonton, AB, yet there are 14 branches listed on WFG's site. http://www.bbb.org/canada/wwwroot/sitepage.as... http://www.wfg-online.ca/contactUs/default.as...

Look at the WFG directory , notice the duplication of address's.(repeated) Typical of MLM companys trumping up the numbers anyway they can. Always acting and trying to look bigger then life.

Always acting and trying to look bigger then life. It is somewhat odd that they would list seperate suits as seperate addresses to give the impression that there are more seperate branches. I mean the different suits even have the same phone number, so why list them twice? But this is WFG were talking about, so I'm not surprised to see something fishy like this.

Once again, you answered a question with a question. We agreed with the T4, so I am not going to change. Apparently, it is you that like to switch things every single time. Let me ask you this: If you keep making amendments in every signed contracts between both parties, do you think they can trust you? That's how everyone of us thinks about you! My T-4 is on its way. If you are serious enough to join WFG, your credentials and attitudes are pretty similar to those new recruits.

Those who are willing to follow WFG script word for word in WFG Business Format System will do well but those who have good ethics and cannot deceive others to participate will quit in a 30-90 day period.

New recruits are challenged to get 10 so called "Field Training" so they can learn the business quick. From "Field Training", either a recruit or a sale, WFG designed to impress people to join. The new recruits have no idea until several trips to the so called "Free Training and meetings". Most of WFG people do not watch TV and have no other life besides WFG. The people praise WFG as if they are praising GOD. They all talk the same, they compliment each other and smile alot. Be careful...

Be careful... It is a cult, like most other MLM's. If people let themselves become brainwashed and consumed by WFG, then they have an increased chance to be successful, but the numbers tell us most will likely fail, despite their commitment. But at what expense will you MAYBE be successful? Let's start with living to work. And what does your work involve? Cold calling and trying to recruit everyone you know by harassing them, pushing mediocre financial products you have little understanding of to friends and family, witholding important information to get people to join, spending most of your time with phonies, being rejected by family and friends, and eventually loosing family and friends. If all you care about is making money at anyone's expense, then WFG is for you. If you are extrenely persistant, manipulative, and aggressive, then WFG is for you. Then again, I'm sure the Hell's Angels are looking for new members.

Here is some good advice when looking to get help with your finances. I found this information on the comment section of a WFG review on Reviewopedia.
"A word of advice. When it comes to your financial well being, work with a professional. A professional financial planner is a CFP (certified financial planner), has a series 7 and 63 license, has an insurance license, a bachelors degree, 10 yrs of investment experience working for a wire house and has worked for a large insurance company for at least 5 years. Don’t settle for anything less. And go with someone who does fee-based financial planning and the option of either fee based or commission based asset management. Look at UMA before ETS and ETFs before mutual funds. Stay away from stocks. Most non-professionals only do well in an up market. Follow my advice and you will avoid a lot (but not all) of people who are just out to make a buck off you. Best of luck!"
Remember, don't settle for anything less! You deserve the best service, so demand no less. If you want to truely achieve your dreams, go for the highest standards, don't settle for the wannabes.

Aegon in the news. http://www.allbusiness.com/legal/legal-servic... Up 65,000 plantiffs in a class action lawsuit! Show this to any WFG recruit trying to defend WFG by using the Aegon defense. If they ask "do you think Aegon would buy a scam company?" you can reply by saying, "Yes! Because Aegon is a scam company too!"

Be careful... WFG somehow convinces recruits to beleive only in advice from their upline or perhaps Marketing Director (MD). The recruits close their conscience mind , allowing no outside influence.Recruits are instructed to discuss any concerns or issues they have with their upline or MD. They are told not to discuss any issue or concern they have with anyone downline or crossline and do not take advice from anyone outside the AEGON company known as "World Financial Group" WFG. The MLM promoted by AEGON of the Netherlands as WFG a business opportunity is a failure to about 99% of recruits. Yet AEGON manages WFG and WFG uses deception to lure recruits into the pyramid scheme and portrays huge success is a given for all recruits.

For expert analysis on MLM ,Pyramid scams ,Ponzi scheme, there is plenty of information , facts and data on the accredited sites listed below. The List of known MLM Pyramid structured companys is mind boggling and frightning. Large multi-national companys such as AEGON's sponsorship of WFG MLM is reflection on many financial service companys, a "Dark" one. Aegon N.V says the following. We will pursue our objectives through sound business principals based on core values of 1)respect 2)Quality 3)Transparency 4)Trust What are these companys/people all about ? Really? check out MLM / pyramids www.pyraidschemealert.org .mlm-thetruth.com
