Have you ever sat under a shade tree? Do you realise it's cooling effect? That alone should tell you that you are doing the wrong thing clearing all these trees off our once beauiful country. I think framers need more education they need to learn the benifits that woodlands have to offer. Just to name a few: fertilizer clean air clean water air conditioning the list goes on and on and on. Thats more than corn will ever do. Lets be more selective on the way we clear our lands for crop improvement. We need both corn and trees!!!
