Yes, recent Chinese immigrants to Canada do not truly know what the Canada Head Tax did to the old Chinese families. The new ones may have read about it in text books or history class, but that is a poor substitute for real experience. The governments are cheap and don't really care about redress beyond the quick PR show.

Stop it! You are making me hungry. The Chinese buffet place down the street isn't open for lunch yet. I guess I will have to settle for McDonald's or Burger King breakfast sandwich combo?

This is typical of all governments. They just want everyone's tax money and other fees and charges immediately. They will jump all over you if they think you are not paying them fast enough. However, when they owe you money such as GST, tax refund, Canada Pension, Employment Insurance, etc, they will drag their ass and take forever mired in endless bureaucracy. Have any of you noticed this imbalance?

It is almost as if the governments want your money as much as possible, but don't want to give you any of it back if they could avoid it. They don't seem very different from a private sector corporation.

YES! A cheque from a government office would be nice. If some government office printed a cheque for me, would I refuse money? Make money your dear friend, don't fight it.

No apologizing. I want the head tax reinstated. With all the zipperheads in Vancouver nowadays, they would make a killing.

"From the passage of the Chinese Immigration Act in 1885, the Canadian government began to charge a substantial Head Tax for each Chinese person trying to immigrate to Canada. The Chinese were the only ethnic group that had to pay such a tax."

Why wasn't the HEAD-TAX extended to other Asians such as the Japanese?

"The first generation of Japanese, or Issei, mostly came to Vancouver Island and Fraser Valley from fishing villages on the islands of Kyūshū and Honshū between 1877 and 1928."

"The first record of Chinese in what is known as Canada today can be dated back to 1788."

The Japanese arrived 89 years later. Why on earth would the Canadians single out the Chinese? It clearly had nothing to do with their race, or color of their skin ... so what could have been the problem?

This may have something to do with it:

Indeed, even today’s scourge of human smuggling has its precedent in Canadian history as thousands of illegal Chinese were surreptitiously brought into Canada en route to the U.S. in the latter years of the 19th century. In 1884, law enforcement authorities in B.C. captured 14 fishing ships engaged in human smuggling, each one realizing “handsome profits for their owners,” as the New York Times put it.“As high as $80 per head for women and $80 for Chinese men are now paid to Captains of boats for running them across the boundary line.”

Between 1870 and 1908, Chinese merchants opened a number of factories in Victoria and B.C.’s Lower Mainland to convert raw gum opium into the smokeable form. By the 1880s, British Columbia was the main North American importer, producer and exporter of opium.

In addition, there is evidence that Canada has become a centre of operations for some transnational crime groups. Since the return of Hong Kong to China in 1997, Chinese crime groups have shifted resources, people and certain criminal activities to Toronto and Vancouver.

By the early 20th century,... Around the same time, Chinese merchants in British Columbia were the leading purveyors of opium, gambling and prostitutes. Their clientele were the plebeian Chinese immigrant labourers, who found refuge in such vices in the face of constant racial hatred, ethnicity-based herding, violence and legislative disenfranchisement by the white population.

The early Chinese Organized Crime Syndicates appear to have been better organized, well-financed, politically savvy and far superior in every conceivable aspect to their Western counterparts.

Could it be the Chinese were viewed as a threat by Canadians?

Yes, criminals of all types are a societal cancer. That is why I think all societies need more BIG BROTHER, eyes, ears, and mouths everywhere and in every level of society monitoring all things and every single person, informing on the naughty rebellious ones. If anyone dares to step out of line, whammo! Fair play is very important. Everyone should be subjected to BIG BROTHER in equal measures across the board.

What!? Do you think all Asians are space alien clones created by the New World Order or something? If I could have a clone army like Chancellor Palpatine, Star Wars, I would like that a lot. Conquer and rule the world pal. I think Emperor Palaptine and Darth Vader are cool dudes and I admire that kind of person very much.

The Coming China Wars by Peter Navarro

"DRUGS – China has managed to launch itself as the word’s biggest dope slinger. Historically it has always been a hot-bed for opiate trade, but all four of the extremely problematic hard drugs (cocaine, heroin, meth, X) come to market by way of China and it’s diaspora of triad gang networks around the world. China is also a leading producer and exporter of chemicals needed to create synthetic drugs (meth, X) in addition to actual production."

Apparently you are one of the few whitey Caucasians who don't like hot looking Asian females. I forget about the fat ugly cows of any ethnic groups. Some white old guy WW2 veteran at Victoria BC Government House 2014 New Year levee, had these two hottie Japanese women fawning all over him and his military medals as they took pictures. The two Jap chicks looked like models in their sexy boots and skin tight legging pants. The vet must be about 85-95 and had a big smile on his face as he put his hands on their hips, one on each side. It was like he was getting a cheap thrill while being admired by the two girls who are about the same age as his own grandkids if he has any. Damn it, a man in uniform gets the chicks even after being long retired and out of uniform! Those two Japanese hotties didn't give me that much notice when I talked to them! It's not fair and I'm half the old guy's age and have less wrinkles and got upstaged. You really can't get any in Victoria.

It sucks to get out done by an older guy with medals for the attention of the young hotties doesn`t it. You don`t get a prize for respect by being last place. Your mojo isn`t working. Hot chicks from any ethnic group all go for guys in uniform, there is something they find handsome about official uniforms. Fast food uniforms would be some of the exceptions.

ummm you do know the Asian crimes rates are even lower than white crime rates right? even with their Triads in Canada....

Chinese were viewed by your white ancestors like this way.. keep in mind this was around the time that 8 countries including the UK attacked China to force her to continue taking Opium in return for her treasure....

How China's taking over Africa, and why the West should be VERY worried
By ANDREW MALONE

On June 5, 1873, in a letter to The Times, Sir Francis Galton, the cousin of Charles Darwin and a distinguished African explorer in his own right, outlined a daring (if by today's standards utterly offensive) new method to 'tame' and colonise what was then known as the Dark Continent.

'My proposal is to make the encouragement of Chinese settlements of Africa a part of our national policy, in the belief that the Chinese immigrants would not only maintain their position, but that they would multiply and their descendants supplant the inferior Negro race,' wrote Galton.

'I should expect that the African seaboard, now sparsely occupied by lazy, palavering savages, might in a few years be tenanted by industrious, order-loving Chinese, living either as a semidetached dependency of China, or else in perfect freedom under their own law.'

Despite an outcry in Parliament and heated debate in the august salons of the Royal Geographic Society, Galton insisted that 'the history of the world tells the tale of the continual displacement of populations, each by a worthier successor, and humanity gains thereby'.

A controversial figure, Galton was also the pioneer of eugenics, the theory that was used by Hitler to try to fulfil his mad dreams of a German Master Race.

Eventually, Galton's grand resettlement plans fizzled out because there were much more exciting things going on in Africa.

But that was more than 100 years ago, and with legendary explorers such as Livingstone, Speke and Burton still battling to find the source of the Nile - and new discoveries of exotic species of birds and animals featuring regularly on newspaper front pages - vast swathes of the continent had not even been 'discovered'.

Yet Sir Francis Galton, it now appears, was ahead of his time. His vision is coming true - if not in the way he imagined. An astonishing invasion of Africa is now under way.
In the greatest movement of people the world has ever seen, China is secretly working to turn the entire continent into a new colony.

Reminiscent of the West's imperial push in the 18th and 19th centuries - but on a much more dramatic, determined scale - China's rulers believe Africa can become a 'satellite' state, solving its own problems of over-population and shortage of natural resources at a stroke.
With little fanfare, a staggering 750,000 Chinese have settled in Africa over the past decade. More are on the way.

the fact is your white race is being displaced from Canada... and you can like it or not

it wont change whats happening
