What I don't understand is how people continually get let out of jail following prior serious offences and convictions, only to reoffend, but the offences become worse. The charges state the young man walked up to a former residence of his, knocked at the door, then proceeded to rape and beat the young woman that now lived in the home. From my understanding this young man has had prior convictions for serious offences, including jail time recently. Everyone has problems, granted some have had a worse upbringing than others, but help these people then, and if they are beyond help, put them away. The victim in this case was an innocent, her life will have forever changed because of this person's terrible act. When will our government start taking the steps needed to truly protect our citizens, instead of the offender? The true tragedy will be if this young man is let out in the future as an slightly older man, with no therapy. Guaranteed, he will only become worse....

Yes he has prior offences but was let out do to false circumstances...Jarrod is an amazin friend he would never ever harm anyone in this way...There is no actual evidence against him besides the fact that he was near the place...One he had no where to stay so ofcourse he would just be wondering around. What would u do if u have no wear to live? He was just walking somewhere from the bar because well he had no where to walk to.. things get heated up and u walk it off but he would never hurt anyone.
