Nice cat, look in the microwave - A group of anti-animal cruelty protesters stood outside court in Camrose, Alta., as a judge put the case of several teens accused of using a microwave oven to kill a family cat over until March 6. It's alleged that three 15-year-olds and a 13-year-old broke into a Camrose home on Dec. 30, and put the family cat named Princess in the microwave. They were charged with unlawfully killing an animal, unlawfully causing pain or suffering to an animal and various break and enter offences. So disgusting!I am a cats lover and what those kids did is the most evil, disgusting and horrible thing I have ever seen.They should be punished for that crime. If the death sentence does not apply for this crime, they should be in the toughest jail for life!The poor Princess cat did not do anything to them.. I cannot imagine the horror in the microwave..Really sickened me.Why does it take so long for the court to judge them? It took only 10minutes for those kids to microwave that poor cat.The sentence should be straight forward.They are mentally sick kids, and I blame the parents for not controlling and educate their kids. Animals have the right to live too..I hope those 4 boys will be jailed for life or even death sentence!

Canada has been trying to change their laws for some time, I hope this will help. If the only good thing can come out of this is that other innocent animals will be protected by stronger laws.

As for the kids, go after the parents. My father was born in Winnepeg and not raised as these poor excuses for humans. Go after the parents, burn their feet, their hands, scar them for life, just as this innocent family is scarred for life.
Animals are so helpless and therefore the object of cruelity that more often then not, goes unpunished. Put the kids away, and go after the parents.

To the parents of these brats...what inhuman animals you have raised...shame on you. Since you never taught them to have respect for life, even a little harmless animal, maybe you should have drowned your kids at birth. That might have saved this little pet, who was raised by her mother to give love. Shame on you parents. I can't help but wonder how many of these kids had pets that greeted them when they came home that night. I truly pray this follows them for their entire life.....
