Nokia, Siemens to merge phone system units

This sounds like a huge merger. I'm just hearing about it, but I'm already wondering how it has affected the phone systems Calgary has. Companies like must have been seriously affected. That is, unless the Canadian and European companies have less impact on each other than I think.
