I drove by there today. I saw the crowd.
It was an urban crowd. I'm sure the people at the Miranova are tickled to have them.
I left.
I won't be going back. I'll stay in my safe suburb, thank you very much.
You drove by it? You didn't get out? Look around maybe? Did all the people scare you? Explain what you mean by "urban crowd"?

Why are we closing down two main arterials into and out of downtown when the new promenade is a convenient and beautiful location which does not affect so many commuters?

They didn't scare me, I just don't want to be around them.

"North Bank" sucks. Anyone who actually goes to the festival during its most crowded times knows it's impossible to walk from one end to the other due to the lines for the vendors! The festival was MUCH better at Bicentennial Park.
Yeah, Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded.

The "so-called" Scioto Mile park, is a 25 foot wide strip of flowers planted on top of a gigantic flood wall. There is not enough room for a tandem bicycle to turn around -- let alone space for a festival.
This project has been an epic waste of public funds !
It was not paid for by public funds... It was paid for by private and corporate donations. You clearly haven't been to the river front at all... The Scioto Mile is NOT a "25 foot wide strip of flowers"... Have you seen the massive fountain in Bicentennial Park?!
