It's too bad the XOOM never had a chance to compete with the Evil iEmpire because they released the more expensive 3G version first, and with a buggy Android OS. The other Android tablets coming out this year may have a better chance. Perhaps the HP Touchpad with WebOS will make a big splash. Regardless, it will take awhile to flush the iStuff from the collective consciousness.

I SO wanted to buy one of these instead of the iPad2 I purchased. I would have done so DESPITE the lack of apps for the Android Tablet platform. Unfortunately, I had the opportunity to test one and it crashed 2 times in the 15 minutes I was testing. I have VERY rarely had stability issues with the iPad, so there you go...
