California bigots aim for gay marriage ban by amending State Constitution
As California's highest court prepares to take up a case seeking to legalize same-sex marriage, two groups that failed to get gay marriage bans on the state ballot two years ago are trying again, one with backing from a prominent Christian conservative organization.
The groups, ProtectMarriage.com and VoteYesMarriage.com, have filed ballot language with the California Secretary of State that would, if approved by voters, amend the California Constitution to limit marriage to one man and one woman regardless of how the Supreme Court rules.

Like that would ever pass in California. Luckily, most Californians have enough sense of justice and fairness. Unfortunately there always have to be a few religious morons in each state (some more than others).

1 To presume that Californians have an advanced sense of justice and fairness is naive and immature. If that was true, they would have replaced all state congresspersons and senators by now! Lastly, to refer to religious people as "morons" just demonstrates one's immaturity and one's lack of a decent sense of justice and fairness! |

I scared too much if gay marriages get legalize, because it ruin the family value what already about danger in the society.

If the Supreme Court have right to turn over the vote of voters, why we need to vote
|

Here's the process: 1. Vote something into law 2. Send it through the courts to see if the law passes the constitutional test a. If the law passes the test, it is validated b. If the law fails the test, it is discarded |

Aw c'mon now! Not every religious person is a moron. I found an exception the the stereotype. I met an intelligent religious person in 2002 who wasn't a moron. His philosophy was "A person's religion should be kept clean and private, just like his underwear" |

I take it this is why your side has failed twice in getting enough signatures to even place it for a vote. Lastly, to think religious people are "morons" just demostrates a willingness and eagerness to find a section of America which shares your hate, bigotry and lack of compassion. It must kinda suck having your side go so quickly down the drain. At least you'll be more at home with all the shite you'll find at the other end of the pipe. |
