Waste Management, Inc.(NYSE: WM) is a waste management, comprehensive waste, and environmental services company in North America. Founded in 1894, the company is headquartered in the First City Tower in Houston, Texas with shares on the NYSE valued currently at over $30/share and quarterlies handsomely leveled between $30-40 over the entire year.
The company's industrious network includes 367 collection operations, 355 transfer stations, 273 active landfill disposal sites, 16 waste-to-energy plants, 134 recycling plants, 111 beneficial-use landfill gas projects and six independent power production plants. Waste Management offers environmental services to nearly 20 million residential, industrial, municipal and commercial customers in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. With 21,000 collection and transfer vehicles, the company has the largest trucking fleet in the waste industry. Together with its competitor Republic Services, Inc, the two handle more than half of all garbage collection in the United States (source: Wikipedia).
Waste Management, Inc. is a handsome company and has expanded its operations to manage eco-friendly zero-waste industry initiatives.
With today's global industries investing financially and materially in various manufacturing and labeling sectors, the Information Age streamlining trend requires producers to provide reliable and efficient management of waste minimization.
In developing countries, management of residential and industrial waste is not as handsomely organized, perhaps placing expansion incentives for western companies such as Waste Management, Inc. to consider lucrative ways to outsource resources to such countries and perhaps re-invigorate the global value of capitalism-beneficial Hollywood (USA) movies such as "FernGully: The Last Rainforest" (1992).
Are they printing movie posters on hemp/recycled paper yet?
