I hear ya man. I worked with them back in 2008 leasing a truck. I drove my truck for 7 weeks and out of those 7 weeks, I never received the first paycheck. I delivered the last load and turned the truck in to a secured yard and left. About 30 days later I got a bill in the mail for $25,000. They turned into the IRS that I made over $15,000 and net was $0. They screwed up my DAC and now I can't get a job anywhere. I supposedly owe the IRS $6,000 because of C.R. England. I am thinking about joining one of those class action law suites that they have against them.

I agree with that comment about working for Mc Donalds...you will make a hell of alot more money working for Mc donalds than you will for most of these trucking companies nowdays...70hrs logged and probably another 10-15 hrs a week sweepin trailers, loading or unloading on your break...Mc Donalds defineatly pays alot BETTER

I agree, I had both good and bad experiences, while at the same time a lot of bs with them.(getting reimbursed, deductions, dms, bad co-drivers, DMS that dont care ect ect) You"ll get your CDL, get your 6months than move on.DO NOT LEASE! I stayed company and relief and recovery. Belief me i was very tolerant

Did you read what you posted your question under? "CR England total scam", and you want a "positive response only". Well here is your positive response. Positively finish out your six months and get out. If you feel confident enough to perform the job yourself just drive as a company driver but start looking now for another company to drive for.

I was contacted and am scheduled to leave for Indiana on 11-20 and I need to know what I am getting in to. I need the experience, but they told me I only need $100.00 for the refresher course because I already have my CDL. Can you give me some advice.

I was there in 2008 and I like you had my CDL from 1993. Upon seeing the scam that was going on I left before getting in a truck.
They then sent me a bill for 500.00. So as not to affect my credit I paid the bill but also contacted the BBB in which CRE took forever to respond and in the end I was advised to send all paperwork to the IN State Attorney General. My Advise is that you try and find another company and cancel with these a@#holes. A little effort and time to research will save you a lot of grief.

Cr england is just fine to me.I run western regional.I go home often.I train and avg 1200 dollars a week.I choose to drive 4000 miles a week.but I do agree that most of the problems with training drivers isn't cr england.its the trainers.I drive 4000 miles avg so we stop occasionally to do backup practice and I can show rookies how to use the computer.all my students who are still here (trained 17 & 13 are still here either leasing or company) are all doing well. There not getting rich but they are still learning and keeping up with there bills.I talk to most of them still and they always call me asking for advice.to those who dislike it...then stay away...its that simple. I'm happy here

Hey buddy....take anything offered.no such thing as a best route. Take your time and with time comes experience.once you get the hang of everything you will be fine.but to answer your question,I run out west and I love it for training new drivers.

My husband leases for CR England, he is 22 & is on their local route, the walmart account, and he makes 120k a year. enough said. CR England has never screwed us over, in fact thanks to them we have a huge brand new house for us & our children, & I'm a full time student & do not have to work until after my schooling because of his job. He works 6 nights a week, & is home almost everyday. Can't beat that. Good luck everyone, if you don't like England, find a different company and try your luck.

CR England is offering an exciting opportunity. After reading all of these vaious blogs it must be opportunity for them! I'm considering not attending their classes for refresher course. I thank you gentlemen for expressing your concerns for other especially when our Country is fallen as far as it has in such a short period of time.
To be scammed now when money is so tight would be the end of my family. You fellow driver may have just saved me from making a big mistake.
Thanks again for your comments.

Why is the goverment allowing this? Where is the District Attorney when you need one?

i went 2 cr englands school, Are class was the largest starting class by the time we were coming to graduate there were only 7 guys left out of 150. Also if u get disqualified from them u still owe that 5000 to them.m My second phase trainer left me in the truk in new hampsire and said he woulkd b gone only 5 days during xmas he was gone 3 months and they kept runnin me solo they profoted from me several thousands of dollars and while I was running solo hunts point and all the new england states they were only paying me student cents per mile. My advice is look for an accredited school that takes the grants that are available in some cases u dont have to pay that back so before u jump into cr do your homework there are many good schools out there and by the way they do not hav any positions for company drivers that is a lie they r lease only I recieved my certificate after many long days and nights and I went down the road I was not suckerd into the scam. |If you dont mind living on your 100 week draw and u hav no bills or family to take care of then there a great shop if u just wanna get the experience and move on and dont believe any of the lease guys the only way they make money is offf your back as a trainer and thats y there r 2 an 3 drivers per truk its bullshit they r a really bad shop they thiev in the name of there mormon god and also if u want to see predjudice they r the most they believe they r above everyone and didi u know they own the strip club next door to the school, and also they hav contracts with wallywprld thats y u can only take the bus to wally and also if u get thrown out from there u hav to pay them bak for ur tiket

Cr England has a good driving school. The instructors are the best: Jim, Doug, Joey and the range crew, i love those guys. I also had the best first phase trainer Scott Chase, may God bless that man because he taught me everything that i needed to know in order to be a successful driver.I also had a very good first phase trainer with whom i got along very well.I really don't have any negative comments about CR. England. Graduated 10/18/10. CR you are the BEST..........

I am looking for a career change in the near future, and truck driving has been on my mind for a while. I have talked with CR England and thought it would be a good place to train for a year. Can anyone give me a heads up to some other good training programs in CA .
Thank you and good luck to all!

I have to admit that there are some ups & downs. I got my start with C.R. England; and they are just that "a place to start"! So get your CDL, experience and get the hell on! BTW no one come to blogs to take English exams and prove how well they use punctuation, vowels and pronouns! c'mon guys/gals, we're just trying to help the misguided individuals who may be about to make the same mistake some others made. If you think they're scam artist then that's your opinion! I started there 7 years ago; put in my time (no - i didnt take the lease program); I was an instructor at the East Chicago, IN location; drove dedicated and then left. I now have my own trucking company out of Chicago, and owe a lot of that to my beginning at CR England. If you're not a road-warrior then be careful what you sign up for; if you have a wife kids at home that need your constant presence for the next year then it's not for you! Whoever wrote "friends" being a reason behind not making it...WOW! If you have a stable partner/spouse, that will help you manage your money and career then get out there and get it started. Good luck...driver!

My husband has worked for england for almost 6 months due to no work in vegas,he thought this would be a good idea, however since working for them we have lost both our cars, utilities have been shut off, had to go on welfare and am about to lose my home because of the greed from cr england. He had a bad truck to start with, constantly paying to fix it,turned it in for a new one, 4 months later still taking money from him for it and yet he is in the hole all the time, than you england for flipping our lives upside down,I love to explain to my 9 and [email protected] old that they can't play sports because I never know if I am even going to be able to pay the bills...
