Bobby; Thank you for your comments. I am retired form the Air Force with 21 years of service. During that time every time I received an assignment, there was always someone who had something negative to say about it, no matter where it was. I decided early on in my career that I wasn't going to listen to all the negative comments about my up coming assignments and that I would figure it out for myself, wanting to find the positive in all of my experiences. I would just like to say that I never had one bad assignment in my 21 years of service. Now about this trucking thing? I am currently speaking with one of the career counselors and had decided to forge ahead with my plans to hit the road so to speak. I have no intention of getting hooked up in a lease program, I will be happy to be a company driver through my commitment time frame with CR. After that, I may be looking for something else locally but I can't help but think this will be a genuine and rewarding experience. Thanks for your thoughts and keep your standards strong. God Bless you
Rex,
I was wondering how your experience ended up being. I have the same mindset and hopes for this experience. Praying you read this!

Well folks, I am a driver with C.R England and I have been here a year. I'm leaving as soon as I'm routed through to drop off my truck. I didn't make much. I have 32 dollars in my account they never gave hometime. I did get a better deal with family. I got tired of playing the load lock, ar express code trip pack deal with the office who takes no fault game. There was a million problems with England and it's a school. There is no ace but up from there. I'll be riding a bus and taxi home. I wish anybody who has gone through that experience the best of luck. If I ever had but only two options wash dishes or work for England I'll scrub the pans.

I think that 98% of the negativity in the preceding comments comes from people who got snookered into signing a lease instead of sticking to their guns and just becoming a company driver.

Im a lease op for cr england and i make 10,000 a week solo. You just have to manage your time. They paid me a million dollars to go to their world class school and i went up to phase 5 training. They fed up lobster and steak every meal and sent hookers up to our 5star rooms every nite. Best ever trucking company to work for!!!!!!

Wow...Sooo many people talk crap about England. But nothin ever positive.... the people who are complaining are the people who dont have what it takes to become a trucker. There is lots of money to be made out there, yoy just actually gotta work for it. Ive been with the company as an IC for over 3 yrs now. My net bring home a week is between $1300-$2200...most drivers that come here expect big checks just for drivin, but theres more to it than that. If your serious and dedicated to doing the job right, you too can make money...you cant just sight see, sit at truck stops, and request hometime every month... i will say that they will get rid of you if your constantly late for pickups or deliveries but thats the nature of trucking.

Me and my brother team drove under a lease for C.R. England. In 5 months we grossed $54,000.00. That's an average of 10k per month so no way anyone can say we were just sitting. For all that work what was our bring home? We were negative -$16,000.00 for what we owed C.R. England. Dont you people believe these company shills coming on here defending C.R. England. They are liar scam artists who will do anything to scam desperate uninformed students out of every drop of blood they can extract from you. I have every trip pack and weekly pay stub to support what I say. The companies involved in this scam is C.R. England, Horizon Leasing and Sales, and Eagle Atlantic Financial Services. C.R. England has busted over and over for falsifying D.A.C. Reports in retaliation if you quit their scam. They do NOT pay minimum wage and have been taken to court over it repeatedly. Usually, settling out of court as they still made incredibly insane amounts of money off you. What do they care about a minimum wage settlement after the lie and scam. All these people defending them work right in their Salt lake City, Utah home office. I have been upstairs in the headquarters and have seen the PR Division at work.

They are so hated that they have to have armed security guards and metal detectors to keep from getting killed by disgruntled employee's. They even have postings everywhere in that catastrophe they want to call a dorm/hotel/hostel, that you may not have any recording devices, digital camera, etc. They are afraid of reporters getting in there and exposing them. While I was at training they even had a female student there who was raped by her trainer. There was at least one death of a student I know of from my class. Someone miss judged a overpass and crushed him in the top bunk sleeper birth.

C.R. England and it's affiliate cohorts are the worst companies I have EVER seen in my entire life. They are like something out of pre teamsters or pre D.O.T. days. Why the D.O.T. hasn't put a stop to them is beyond me. My guess is Department of Transportation has just become shills for the Corporations and the States as Court Appointed Tax Collector aka highway robbers. I loathe the day I ever heard of C.R. England.

I will add too, that reading most of these posts and the horrible English, spelling, punctuation, grammar, foul language in your messages (and NOT proofreading what you write!) that is does not surprise me one bit that you feel "screwed". You come across as "victims" of the world and I'm sure this goes far beyond your experiences with trucking companies. Maybe if you take the time to go through your contracts and paperwork and what is expected of you as well as try your best to make your best impression on others, your lives just might be better. Also, how many of you put more commitment into your trashy tattoos and piercings, etc., looking like circus clowns and low lives than you do into what is really important in life? Just something to think about...
I am surprised you wrote, " that is does not surprise me...". See line three. Anyway, I appreciate your articulate comments on looks.

Its the school part that is a scam and the contract ect. My husband did it when we had no other options and no jobs besides minimum wage ones here at home. He went to the school part passed with flying colors and then went on the road making 300$ a week!! I was pregnant at the time. We almost lost our house and everything else. He left after 3 months to come home and try to find another job which he did thank god and we got out of that bad situation but just barely. He ended up having to pay back 3000$ for the school portion which was a huge rip off. Now he is working for a company closer to home and bringing home 1500$ a week. So you tell me if its a good company to work for? I can't see the upside to it. Sorry

Bless your heart. You could always just pack up and go home. But you will have to pay back 3000$ just remember that,
