The diffrence between then and now? easy my family came here legally, notice that word legally. my grand parents, became legal American Citizens, wow what a concept come here legally. we did not sneak across the border illegally, they didn't refuse to adapt to society, they did not refuse to learn the language. they did not work illegally and refuse to pay yearly income taxes. they did not pumpout kids like pez so they can use them as anchor babies.......but hey other then that no diffrence. and by the way I am proud to be Irish.
But as for the actual topic, you know, what this thread is suspose to be about. pay close attn to what was written, the two companies listed were suspose to be model companies that the program was using as thier dog and pony show. look at D.O.T.'S own failure and out of service rates for those companies, any American company that had that many major violations would have thier dicks nailed to a board untill D.O.T. did a total company safety records audit. but Bush is Illegally pushing and forcing this program forward, even after congress cut off all funding and ordered that no funding be pulled from other programs to finance it. but Bush still is illegally running the program. that grasshopper is the problem

Your upside down flag is meant to used in a case of dire distress, to be used only when absolutely necessary to signify the fact that hope is lost and defeat is imminent. Using it to further the cause of truck drivers and their take home pay is an abuse of the flag.

Section 8a of the United States Flag Code states, "The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property."

Your As a patriot who served his country, I am disgusted by your use of that image. Just my opinion, take it or leave it... I sure hope you are grateful that you can use that image in this Country.

Man thats a weak ass long stretch, to try compare what happaned to the indians, and the illegal aliens entering this country are two totally diffrent things. if thats the best arguement you can try to come up with, you should have never typed.
and as for pickups and deliveries, I've loaded out out of the port 9 times this week, and as soon as they get this container loaded I'll be back in the port again. I am glad I did park it, I have already signed new contracts with 3 of my major accounts, 4 of the smaller accounts have already agreed and are waiting for me to deliver the new contracts. the new rate and the sliding scale fuel surcharge, is going to be a great benefit to both sides. but thanks for asking sweetpea.

Sweetpea?? You have me mistaken for your truck stop buddies.

It's weak in your mind because you refuse to see the similarities. And I'm sure you got those those contracts by refusing to haul... you thinking I'm that stupid, makes you delusional. And trust me, you're not kidding anyone, you never parked it. You were one of the MANY that got on here screaming strike, and kept hauling. Again... Hipocrite!

If they come here legally and became american citizens, then I have no problem with them. even if they are in the country with a valid work visa, again I have no problem with it. you sneak across the border like roaches, then they need to ship thier asses out of the country.

Everything you just said was already happening
by our good ole Americans bleeding the system...
does it really bother you that they are illegal..
what about when they become legal ? Will you
then say it's ok ? Define legal? are you legal ?
am i legal ?
I think calling them illegal is just crutch.
I would bet you that mine and your forefathers
never became legal either, they just came to
this country in search of a better life and never
looked backed...

I never claimed Blackmail... I just say it didn't happen. You must be one hell of a driver to have them so desperate to have you back.(it's rhetorical, you don't have to confirm that)

I've had a great time reading your posts, and you can learn alot by doing that. I have learned that you type information lackinf just enough information to seem factual, but really are not. I'm still waiting on the evidence that your strike reduced truck traffic in the ports by 90%. Remember, you said you would have to me at eh end of last week?

How do you know who's legal and who's not ?
Is it only the Mexicans that you want
to point the finger at ? What about the
the Irish that "illegal" ?
Maybe you just made a poor decision
on your career. Is it ok for all other
fields of employment to blame it on the
mexicans ?
I had a business owner tell me that he pays
his mexicans more money than the others because
he know they will be there everyday,on time, and
and stay until the end of the day and does not want them going to work anywhere else.
Anybody still thinking it's low wages
is about 10-15 years behind the times.
And yes they all pay taxes !!
So, just sit on the side of the road with
your goofy "shutem down" signs and watch the
rest of the blow by you.

The 'fair tax law' would be a way to insure all people, whether legal or not, paid taxes...

I heard about it on the Niel Borques show..

I disagree I believe if Mexico wants to come here they should abide by our Laws. Their illegal ways are why they are living in POVERTY.. Just look at the prisons here today loaded with Mexicans who don't want to abide by our laws. They feel they can do what ever they want...

I am not profiting from 'taco' truckers. Everyone has a right to work and support their families. If that is defending mexicans, so be it. I've been to part of their country. What I seen was a lot of poverty. I dont blame them one bit for coming here and trying to make money. Anyone would do the same thing. Including you. You call that insane? I call it survival. Skirting every law and regulation? And how is that different from American truckers? Or any trucker for that matter?

Again with misstated facts. I have not made 1 post until 4/1/08. I am in the industry and recognized this shut down is wrong and make comments about it. Long Haul is a fake. I know by reading your posts, you're a fan of his... or a friend, so it's ok and expected that you defend him. But don't say "way back" like you know me. And calling me a troll does nothing to my state of mind. I really don't even get what it means or what reaction it should garner.

You can assume what you want, as can I. Long Haul has been saying what people want to hear on here, and conducting his business "as usual" in real life. He never parked "for the strike". I know this.

But as I sit back, and proof in what you wrote about me, I realize it's pointless to try make facts stand out on these boards, as there is no proof to it without giving personal information for the world to see. So believe me, or believe him, believe that I am from "way Back" or even believe in the trucker strike making any impact. To each his own and I say good day.

Oh and last word, you're really not as important as you make yourself out to be. It's an online forum for pete's sake. Get a grip!

I have posted under 3 names... Concerned Distribution manager, Jim and JCC no others... I changed from Jim because there was another Jim and I was not wanting to be confused by him. Concerned Dist. Manager was just one post, to signify my level of expeience to post what I was saying...again nice try. My dates may be a day or 2 off. Maybe it was the last week of March. I have nothing to hide. and thanks, you have a nice day too. So waht else do you "know" about me that proves I'm a fake? Nothing right?
