Fitch: No immediate impact on Genting's ratings from Echelon acquisition
SINGAPORE, March 11 Fitch Ratings says Malaysia-based Genting Berhad's purchase of Boyd Gaming's 87-acre Echelon site at Las Vegas does not have an immediate impact on its ratings.

There’s been a lot of talk about Genting having ties to Muslim extremists in Malaysia. These are false accusations made by who-the-hell-knows because the accusers remain nameless and faceless. And any gaming news online rag like Gaming Today that publishes such nonsense should never kid themselves into thinking what they do is journalism.
