New ATA Paper Says Fatigued Driving Exaggerated
In a new white paper, American Trucking Associations sets the record straight about the involvement of fatigue in large truck crashes, saying anti-trucking industry interest groups wildly exaggerate its role in crashes.

Fatigue numbers are UNDERSTATED if anything..
these OLD BUZZARDS out there become tired after
6 hours actually..need a nap....most are near 60.
Not many 24 year old Kids driving OTR...these elderly Koots are out there trying to stay alert in
Broad Daylite! When Night Falls...they doze off completely....alot of wrecks occur in heavy traffic
when driver is Mildly Fatigued..and slow to react..
the older the driver is the WORSE OFF the situation becomes...Count them...probably 1 Million truckers Passed 55 years old...Fat and out of shape too.
