Slow night or not, the "gas" issue is newsworthy.
We've only just begun to witness the fallout that will result from this.

if we take the stock market out of the oil game then we will see gas prices come down.
because as long as the oil trader's are in this the prices will only keep going up.
they are just like the terrorist the only difference is they kill people
and the oil trader's kill us buy robbing us.

The independent truckers need to strike & bring this country to its knees. Maybe that will get the government to take notice...

people need to wake up now while the election gets closer. pay attention to what these people are saying. if they start this new tax on the oil companies doesnt common sense tell you that they will close up and move out of this country? then watch how high gas price gets. they have to be allowed to drill for oil that everyone knows is here in this country!!!!!

Yes indeed, we are "stuck up a suburban cul de sac in a concrete SUV and we are out of gas." We are on the unfortunate downward slide of a nasty little bell curve. We have allowed ourselves to become addicted to fossil fuels. Our very way of suburban life is changing right now, and it has all been predicted. Watch the documentary film "The end of suburbia" it's a nice little eye opener. There is no help out there from any politician no matter what they say, it is a mathmatical certainty, and the only changes that will come about will be the hard decisions we will have to make about how we choose to live. At least the bicycle is healthy until you get ran off the road by some happy corn fed ignorant red neck.
