Yes, I am serious. You say it is a scientific fact, so prove it to us all. Put a link to a scientific site that proves your claims. I would even settle for a community college site. I am already on a team, it's called the team of reality. Ball is in your court now......
And of course, I say again; it's science. If you'd like to exhaust several hours researching it, go for it. If not, you can opt to join reality, where BEING the punchline isn't nearly as fun as enjoying it.- But that's up to you. Good luck either way

And all this from truckers (or so they claim).... way to make friends and influence people.

I have to wonder what Topix is trying to accomplish, other than hits, when they have less than professional folks moderating these forums.

You say it's science, but yet you have nothing to back it up. You do the research, your the one spouting its science. If it were true you'd already have the research and be able to post where to find it, but you are just full of bull. You can talk the talk, but obviously cannot walk the walk. You're a joke. I was right, you are a sad, pathetic person. You probably still live at home with your mommy! No one else would want you. Especially with all the crap you spew. No one likes a liar.

I cant stand to see a "driver" get out of his truck in shorts sweatpants, and flip flops. It is completely unprofessional. However, it seems that is what trucking has come to lately. Too many driving school graduates who really have no buisness in the industry making it harder for those of us that love this buisness. Trucking is a way of life, not just a job.

wraring jeans on 90 degrees won't make you a truck driver but a stupid idiot who doesn't know how to wear proper clothes.

Why does it matter if long haul trucking ( http://www.titantransport.com ) people wear shorts? They're in their trucks most of the time anyway.

... well here's my thoughts on the matter.... I've been in this game 30 years,.. and I'm gonna be comfortable in MY OFFICE PERIOD. I don't wear dirty.. saggy ... or trashy looking clothes, I DO wear sandals, shorts, and generally a colored "wife-beater" or other nice looking T type shirt with a nice looking button-down that is left open. When I go on a dock to unload my refrigerator I put on my steel toe shoes.. that's all that changes other than an occasional bandana to keep the hair and sweat out of my eyes. I earn.. and have earned the respect of many over the years quickly breaking down my delivery. Needless to say I've put a LOT of extra cash in my pocket doing this too... but THAT is another topic altogether. I too have an issue with dirty unkempt individuals rolling outta trucks in those stretchy sweatpants... I think too many of you put a little to much emphasis on "trucking apparel". If you think walking around in 110 degree heat in a jeans.. pointed "cowboy" boots (complete with spurs)... long sleeve western button-down with mother of pearl buttons and belt complete with turkey platter buckle.. oh and 10 gallon hat.. makes you a truck driver... your sadly mistaken. If that is what you choose to wear,.. I've no issue with that.. shorts and sandals... no prob.. dirty, nasty, stinking week old greasy outfit... now THAT'S AN ISSUE! So really... get over it folks,.. the sooner that you realize that your not going to be able to change the trucking industry .. and the attire worn by its constituents.. no more than we can change the world.. the lower your blood pressure is apt to be... so yeah... my thoughts on the matter and 2 or 3 dollars will get'cha a decent cup of coffee... good-day...

Why do the people with the "UGLYIST" legs wear short pants? Don't they have any shame? Real truck drivers don't wear
shorts. I have never seen so many ugly people in my life, why does trucking attract ugly people?
Because your quite feeble minded and out of touch with real trucking today not 20 years ago. Its a lazy persons way of life... no touch freight or trying to impress the truckstop waitress at the Mayfkiwer.. We pee driving and the 14 hr time bomb dictates that driving comfortable is the safe way. Dude your ugly as Fu#k.. in the head..

Since we have the 14hr time bomb. We have to pee while driving... so wearing long pants is not an opi
Tion to being comfy and having our package avaialble to pee and other extra curriculum to boring driving.. keeps the stress level dosn puts a smile on.. your a dufuss dweeb. I have over 30 years 3 million safe miles.. shorts and short sleeve tee's are the only way to haull butt down the super slab...
