Medically unfit truck drivers still on roads

Over half a million tractor-trailer and bus drivers who have commercial licenses also have medical conditions that qualify them for full federal disability payments.

Drivers might be hard to come by. I don't think someone who's not physically able to drive, should be driving so, it's up to the Industry to make the roads safe and make sure all are capable of driving with Safety being their first priority.

Nice, trucks are inspected and up to standards but the drivers aren't.....

Maybe if the CVSA made not having a valid medical card in the possession of the driver an out of service violation it would be taken a little more seriously by the drivers.

In today's modern computerized world, it should take about a month to straighten this out. If it's ever fixed, it'll take years. Yeah for bureaucracy.
