Waterford To Join In Sheraton Makeover

When Waterford Group bought the downtown Hilton in Hartford four years ago, the aging hotel was in such bad shape that Hilton was close to pulling its name from the building.

70 percent occupancy in the hotel business is lethargic at best. Traffic at BDL has declined and is expected to continue doing so. Konover has been divesting of many of its assets so this is not a huge surprise.
