Clean coal technology is a collection of technologies being developed to mitigate the environmental impact of pollutant-rich coal energy generation. Clean coal technologies are being developed to remove or reduce pollutant emissions to the atmosphere. Some of the techniques that would be used to accomplish this include chemically washing minerals and impurities from the coal and storage technologies designed to improve the efficiency of the conversion of coal energy into electricity.

Diamonds are of course made from pressurizing coals. Because of the lavish and deadly international diamond trade based for example in regions in Africa, the coal mineral has received a somewhat negative connotation socially (i.e., "dirty rocks used for dirt energy or shiny diamonds").

However, developed and developing Information Age technologies such as WikiTravel and eTrade have offered promise that conversed renewable, alternative, and eco-friendly energy research can be traded globally very efficiently. This makes clean coal technologies a surprising new symbol of suddenly re-envisioning dirty mineral use.

Mineral/Gem-centric motion pictures such as "Diamonds Are Forever" (1971) and "Blood Diamond" (2006) further imply that the international community is intrigued industrially in mineral use and its social impact on human-focused sectors such as tourism and consumerism.

Do these new age considerations reflect the past economic value of politics-potential lifestyle advertising franchises such as Planet Hollywood?

Are they printing movie posters on hemp/recycled paper yet?

God bless!
