Editorial: Stamp of approval

"The card is in the mail" is an old, increasingly outdated expression. The United States Postal Service is amending it and trying to shore up the relevance of its post offices to American consumers in the process.

1.The proper phrase should be that the card got mistakenly dropped into the delayed mail and who knows when it will be carried or delivered. 2. Your regular carrier is out on vacation/stress leave=sick leave or we haven't given him/her time to clean up the mis-sorts and bring backs. 3. We're a monopoly and we answer to no one. We don't need no stinkin' badges. HAHAHAHAHAHA
