No moss gathering on me "Easy" just busy finishing some projects up here on the farm and doing some traveling until spring. What the heck are you doing down south? Ellie Mae kick you out of the McKinney digs? Did you get caught in the hen house? Or did the old girl finally wise up? Inquiring minds want to know?!?!

Sorry Buffy, I have not called you but I have been busy with family and the projects here on the farm. Are you bored as can be? Can you do a shopping day? I'll be in Houston next week to see my daughter and her family. Best wishes and congrats!

I have always liked the Texas hill country. It was time to return. Nah.....none of the above. EM ain't goin' no place but Texas, with little ole me. She KNOWS a good thang when she sees it; and she's pretty wise. Still about the same distance from HBS, doin' the same ole stuff. Life is good; and it's great to be alive at 45. CTS.

Well you are right about one thing, and one thing only. And that is I did [NOT] serve, or rather take that easy way out and join the most succesful socialist enviorment there every was; the US Military Establishment. No Sir, I was paying taxes to support you and your drunken cohorts that got free housing, free food, free dental, free health care, and a free education. You say you are conservative, BS. I am the real conservative, because I have paid my way since I was a kid. You on the other hand are probably driving a car with DV plates, getting a free ride on the toll roads, getting a free check every month, and whatever else you can dole out of the US Taxpayer. Oh, but you served, so you deserve it. Yeah, I know plenty of takers like you. After all you, You Were All You Could Be; a "real" welfare recipent, which is all the Military has become since the end of WWII.
And I bet I am much more fiscally conservative than you, I had to be. The worst and laziest Mechs were those from military too. A junk yard dog like me was alway much better.
All You Can Be, think about it. I set my sights higher!
A good question is: WHY DID YOU "NOT" SERVE? Coward, draft dodger, could not qualify or measure up, WHAT? So you set your sights higher? Was it your eyesight, or faulty sights that dropped you all the way down to union member grease monkey? No offense. I accept NOTHING that is FREE, expect NOTHING from the govt except a high level of incompetence with the same level of corruption, tax bills, etc. Hey lunk head, I have been working and supporting myself since age about 12. My folks were poor.....very poor, but with hard work, honesty, loyalty to country, patriotism, and the stuff this country was made from.....and the help of a few good MEN, I made it. Can't help but wonder if that same opportunity will be available to poor kids coming along today. This was a great country. Will it remain so under the socialist regime now in power in DC? Not looking good at this writing. How many votes can hard working taxpayers afford to purchase to keep these jerks in power. Be careful going to/from the freeloader trough. CTS.

I wish to be very clear on the subject of grease monkeys. There are many, many good men who work as mechanics and earn a living, support their families, and enjoy the work while doing so. These would be the non-union mechanics who earn their way without biting the hand that writes their paychecks. I have great respect for those in this category.

Nothing wrong with unions. It's kind of like when 50 states "unite" and become something greater than the individual parts. You just can't be stupid about things.

Hey ExNWA Scab, I am not talking about those guys or girls. I am talking about the Vets who hurt their knee while playing Basket Ball when they were a GI, but they go ski with their equally scamming Vet buddy every winter, or the old black Vet that has high blood pressure because he ate the Goverment supplied food, or the Vets that drive a fancy BMW roadster with a six speed manual that has DV plates on it. Yeah, a 60 year old black man with high blood pressure, that's unique, and how can that Vet missing limbs, drive a sports car with DV and Handicap plates on it.

Further more the American troops and sailors were and are not fighting for America. Contrawise, they are fighting for international oil interest. Let them pay for the Billion we spend a day their, and the residual cost.

Once again Sleasy R/R, I did not choose to serve because I preferred not to become a Government worker and take the Easy way out. I stayed in the Private Sector, and whether it union or nonunion is immaterial. It is all Private Sector, not dependent on Taxpayer money, the Government you so much deplore.

Scab exNWA, having been able to run a 2'14" 1/2 mile 4'21" mile, a 10'36 2 mile cross country and routinely run sub 40' 10Ks as a toned and muscular 170 lb some 30 something years ago, and with above 20/20 vision and great grades, I was highly sought by military recuirters. Even at the age of 28 I was still in such great shape, and aced those entrance exams, the US Navy still offered me a slot in their Nuclear Engineering Program. I bet I could still outrun your Scabby Ass today, and I am in my early fifties.

Jealous, not hardly. I learned that was "Not All I could Be"!

Nothing more than a bunch of gullible, easily persuaded, followers looking for something for nothing. However, there are some union members who got trapped by the union in order to get the job. There should be right-to-work laws in all 50 states. Union membership should, and must be, strictly voluntary. Apparently we seriously disagree with regard to unions. Wonder if Dogschitt contributes to the Wounded Warrior Project? I thought not. CTS.

No excuse needed. I just did not want to join the US Welfare State. Who joins; somebody looking for some free college money, or an extra paycheck for playing cub scouts one weekend a month, and some extra weeks of vacation every summer leaving the real workers behind to carry their load.

Do you think my college employer UPS will pay me for having hurt my knee playing BB when I was employed by them.

No, that is the difference between the private sector and the goverment job of the goverment you so much despise.

PS, your spellin ain't so great either.

And now they complain about PTS. Often it is a sailor or supply soldier that never even saw any combat. Nobody forced them to go. RM Nixon got rid of draft remember?
