US businesses reluctant to open in Mexico

Full story: El Paso Times
Dozens of Mattel Inc. employees were on their way to another day of work making Power Wheels in Mexico's industrial heartland when gunshots erupted around them and a grenade ripped into one of their buses, killing one worker and wounding five. Full Story

And the US still pays people $2.50 and hour in restaurant business. It is like Mexico.

Why would anyone want to open anything in Mexico.
It is out of control. Parents abandon children for years , yet manage to look out for themselves by breaking laws to get in the US. Then even grandparents who get amnesty in 1986 under Regean still don't go back to escort an 8 yr old (way back when she was an infant or even 3yrs old when her parents abandoned her to enter illegally into US).

They don't mind paying $7000 to a coyote to cross a child BY THEMSELVES (outrageous) but can't pay $10,000 to enter LEGALLY by paying for a visa that would have taken 7 yrs as well. Those parents should be in jail or deported for abandonment, and endangerment of their child as well as the coyotes (hello-they are illegal human traffickers!) and other illegals who abused the girl.

When a country like Mexico and Central America is used to doing things illegally there is something WRONG with the entire system, culture and enviroment.

It is crazy. Parents, crooked government, complicent business that pays extortion money, are as much to blame as the cartels.

Shame on the grandma who got herself amnesty in '86 but didn't do anything in 8 yrs for her grandaughter. And deport the parents, for abandoning their child for 8 yrs and thinking illegal entry would be the only way for their daughter.
Poor girl to be born into the worst corrupt country and to really dumb family whose decisions almost cost her her life.

This is so simple ya pack up your bags move your business to China or India and tell them messy cans to go FWT and see how much they get away with.

These are jobs that belong in the US. Jobs stolen under NAFTA. I hope these companys that cut our throats suffer financially and move back to the US. These folks behind so called "Free Trade" are not patriots. they have sold us out.
