How to use dipping/chewing tobacco...

for my last post. It is easier I found to start with the pouches and then move to the short/long cuts. You get used to having it in your mouth and learn how to suck the flavor out and spit it by having it not like how do you say it? Its in a controlled space in your mouth (wont spread around)

I was always so against the idea of dip, always thought it was disgusting and didn't wanna screw with any harm to the mouth. then i decided last night that I wanted to try, because I have ADD but can't get medication because I could be kicked out of the Army. But I don't want to smoke any more than I do, as I'll smoke a black and mild and share it, maybe what, once a month? But the nicotine helps me focus, and I get a real big buzz since I barely use it.
decided to go with Grizzly Wintergreen. Tastes great, and damn just a little pinch gives me a big buzz that hits fast!
Hopefully I don't find myself getting addicted, as all I see around me during training, are quite a few guys using dip. Seems to be the big thing in the Army.

i don't think the pouches give as much as a fix but it definately is more convenient for the putting in and out aspect but whatever works for you it's all good though!

Scandinavia use snus. Same product. It was actually invented in Sweden. Put it up in your upper lip. Soooo much better.

I was in the Navy and if the flight deck officer caught you spitting chew on the flight deck he would make you scrub the whole deck with everyone else he caught so I learned to put it up in my top lip that way you dont spit as much. It burns the first few times but you get used to it. I have been trying the Cope Smooth Hickory and that stuff is pretty good. I like Skoal too but the problem I have been having is that it loses its flavor too fast. I drive an UPS truck now and I keep a dip in all day and it sucks that I have to "change the dip out" every 30 minutes or so because it loses flavor.

What is the difference between long and short cut? I just bought Skoal Winter green original fine cut on a wim.I have smkoed and was always curious about the difference. How long do you keep it in ?

ive been chewing for about a month or so and i see some of you dont like the lightheaded part...thats why i do it..i thought that was the point of it but anyways its a great stress reliever and grizzly mint mixed with a little longhorn strait and a half teaspoon of robitussin will get ur buzz going.i guess im a lightheaded junkie who knows..and im only 15

i;ve found that skoal or cope fine gives the best buzz or if you're feeling daring take couple suff hits to the dome piece then take a lippr of grizzly winter green. even if your an experience dipper it def gives you a good rush.

Start out with Skoal pouches if you're worried about getting too much of a buzz and throwing up, the first time I dipped I had Skoal citrus, and got no buzz at all. I moved on to Grizzly straight because its cheaper and stronger. It is an acquired taste though, a lot of people don't like it.
Don't listen to the shit people say about mixing different brands and all that shit. The whole reason people dip is because its convenient and easy.
